WAKE ISLAND WATERPARK
July 14th - 1100 – 1700
$45 cost per person - Sign-up Deadline: July 10th
Cool off with a splash at Wake Island. The OAC will be taking a group to this outstanding attraction. This is a great place for a date, a day with friends, or a family outing.
Note: Transportation and Aqua Park admission included. Additional activities up to participant. Must be 48 inches tall for Aqua Park, ask our staff for other rates for smaller participants.

Explore the pristine beauty of the Sierra Nevada’s as we tour Emerald Bay. Located on the Southern portion of Lake Tahoe it has some of the most iconic views and scenery. Join the Outdoor Adventure Center as we visit Eagle and Cascade falls, hike up to Eagle Lake the water source of Eagle falls, and Vikings Holm a Scandinavian Castle built on the water front in 1929.
Note: $30 covers transports, pack a lunch for a scenic picnic.
Napa Wine Trip

Join us as we experience one of California’s most distinguished attractions. Napa Valley is home to some of the world’s finest wines. It is also extremely aesthetically pleasing, with its rolling hills and big skies, an overall great opportunity.

Nevada County Wine + Dine
August 4th - 1100-1900
$25 Cost per person - Sign-up Deadline: July 31st
Join us on the Nevada County Wine & Dine as we visit Avanguardia Wines, Sierra Star Vineyards, Luchessi Vineyards and Smith Vineyards & Winery. We will explore the beautiful downtown Grass Valley as we walk from winery to winery to taste a variety of local wines. We will also head to Cirino’s Bar and Grill to enjoy some delicious Italian cuisine between tastings.

Turtle Bay Exploration Park
August 11th - 0900-1830
$35 Cost per person - Sign-up Deadline: August 7th
Join us as we will visit the Turtle Bay Exploration Park to explore the Museum and Gardens which sits on almost 300-acres with nearly 10-miles of pathways and trails. We will also stop over for some fun-filled education at the Forest Camp Amphitheater on the grounds to watch the Take a Walk on the Wild Side Animal Show that includes an Owl, Porcupine, Fox, and Badger up close. We will then choose between a few different lunch options before heading back.

Stand Up Paddleboard Adventure
August 18th – 19th - Saturday 1000 - Sunday 1500
Cost: $55 - Sign-up Deadline: August 14th
Paddle boarding has become one of the fastest growing forms of aquatic recreation. On this overnight expedition we will make our way up Lake Engelbright to the beautiful and sandy Boston Bar. On the trip we will BBQ, explore, and enjoy the stars over the water. Gear will be hauled in one of our pontoon boats, so you will have a nice comfortable paddle.
Note: Camping gear can be provided if necessary. Food, transportation, and boating equipment will be provided.

Join us on a journey to the Marin Headlands, home to such wonders as the Point Bonita Lighthouse, Battery Mendell, and Rodeo Beach. This rugged rocky coastline is home to over 1200 native plant species, 50 mammals, 250 bird species, and 30 reptiles/amphibians. January is also one of the peak seasons for Gray Whale sightings as they migrate south to warmer waters for feeding and mating. The Marin Headlands provides breathtaking views with a great demonstration of the oceans power.
Note: $30 covers transport only, you will be responsible for providing your own food and water. Pack snacks for the ride, and a lunch for the beach. We will be making a stop on the way back to the OAC if people need to purchase more food.
Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off
September 1st - 0830 – 1600
$30 cost per person - Sign-up Deadline: August 28th
Experience one of the biggest BBQ events in America at the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off. Let the OAC be your ride to this outstanding event. Though the ribs are the main attraction, there are also snack and drink stands, a children’s area, and an assortment of other vendors.

Gold Country Brew Tour Series – Session 5
September 8th - 1100 – 1800

Join us on a tour of beer. I am calling it the GOLD COUNTRY BREW TOUR SERIES. This series is designed to show people the amazing world of craft brewing. Not only is it an opportunity to experience new variations and flavors, it is also a chance to learn about the process, tradition, and culture that surrounds the trade. Session 5 will explore Loomis Basin Brewing Company, Out of Bounds, and Black Vinyl Ale Project. Each brewery holds its own different atmosphere, but each centered on the enjoyment of great beer. Let us be your DD as you explore our local microbreweries.
Note: $20 covers transport, you will need to purchase your own food and beverage.
Moon Dunes Beach Day
September 15th - 0800 – 1800
Cost: $30 - Sign-up Deadline: September 11th
Whoah! The OAC is offering a trip to Moon Dunes Beach, which is one of the lesser known beaches in Tahoe. Enjoy a day in the sand and sun with outstanding view of the surrounding mountains. Your guides will pack along a couple of beach games for some extra fun including Frisbee, Spikeball, and of course Cornhole. Before we head home we will stop at Tahoe Mountain Brewing Company for some excellent grub, and (if age appropriate) awesome beer.
Note: $30 covers transportation and beach activities. Please pack some water and snackage.
Tahoe Tree Top Adventure
September 22nd - 0830 – 1800
Cost: $30 - Sign-up Deadline: September 18th
Come join us at the OAC on a high flying expedition at Tahoe Tree Top Adventure course! Come Challenge yourself to some areal obstacles and zip lines while overlooking beautiful Lake Tahoe. An excellent opportunity for team and confidence building. Includes 1 hour low ropes and team building exercises and 2.5 hours of high altitude adventure obstacles and zip lines. With heights ranging from 10 to 50 feet above the forest floor, 54 difference obstacles and zip lines ranging up to 300 feet long. This is an adventure you don’t want to miss!
Englebright Lake Wine Cruise
September 29th - 1400-2000
$45 Cost per person - Sign-up Deadline: September 26th
Sit back, sip some wine, and enjoy the view. The OAC is offering a cruise in one of our pontoon boats up Englebright Lake. We will be providing local wine for tasting as well as some light snacks.
