Deep Sea Fishing Trip

$20 gets you an amazing experience on an all day fishing tour on the Golden Eye 2000 sports fishing boat . Join an outstanding crew and experience the San Francisco bay in a whole new way. All you'll need is a California fishinglicense, lunch and a fish slaying attitude.

Scott’s Flat Camping

It is time to get a camping trip in while weather is still perfect. Join the OAC on a trip to the beautiful Scott’s Flat Resevoir, located just on the outskirts of Nevada City. Enjoy a swim or relaxing paddle along the lake, or bring some fishing gear to land the big one.
Note: Fee includes camping fees, food, and boating equipment. Camping equipment can be provided if needed.

Join us on a journey to the Marin Headlands, home to such wonders as the Point Bonita Lighthouse, Battery Mendell, and Rodeo Beach. This rugged rocky coastline is home to over 1200 native plant species, 50 mammals, 250 bird species, and 30 reptiles/amphibians. January is also one of the peak seasons for Gray Whale sightings as they migrate south to warmer waters for feeding and mating. The Marin Headlands provides breathtaking views with a great demonstration of the oceans power.
Note: $30 covers transport only, you will be responsible for providing your own food and water. Pack snacks for the ride, and a lunch for the beach. We will be making a stop on the way back to the OAC if people need to purchase more food.
Grass Valley Tasting Trot

Treat yourself to an evening of great food and wine in downtown Grass Valley and let the OAC be your designated driver! Enjoy a “tasting trot” through some of the popular downtown tasting rooms, such as Sierra Star, Avanguardia, Luchessi, and Bent Metal. Winemakers will be on hand to discuss each varietal and provide you insight on the winemaking process, as you taste a variety of wines. After your tasting, feel free to sit down and enjoy a dinner at your choice of any of the restaurants in downtown Grass Valley. The OAC will gladly drop patrons off at their on base home afterwards
Full Moon Float

Join the OAC as we celebrate the full moon on the water. Our local lakes provide a serene experience of reflections of the moon and stars. We will provide the flotation, equipment, and transportation.
Gold Country Brew Tour Series – Session 5

Join us on a tour of beer. I am calling it the GOLD COUNTRY BREW TOUR SERIES. This series is designed to show people the amazing world of craft brewing. Not only is it an opportunity to experience new variations and flavors, it is also a chance to learn about the process, tradition, and culture that surrounds the trade. Session 5 will explore Loomis Basin Brewing Company, Out of Bounds, and Black Vinyl Ale Project. Each brewery holds its own different atmosphere, but each centered on the enjoyment of great beer. Let us be your DD as you explore our local microbreweries.
Note: $20 covers transport, you will need to purchase your own food and beverage.

White Water Rafting Trip

Want to test yourself against the power of nature. Join the OAC as we take on the white water of the American River. Our excellent guides lead you on a journey that will remain in your memory for the rest of time.
Sacramento RiverTrain’s Great Train Robbery
Cost: $15 per person (Executive seating ticket usually $100)
This is our premiere car with lounge-style seating. Included in the ticket price is a souvenir glass, a sparkling wine toast or soda and a light appetizer. This car is 18 and over only. Seating is assigned. Take a ride on the wild side, and live out your own old Western showdown aboard the Sacramento RiverTrain’s Great Train Robbery. Keep a weathered eye on the horizon for greedy outlaws! But don’t fret, our on-board Marshal will keep everyone safe!
This 2.5-hour experience is fun for kids and adults alike, and you’ll feel like you’ve traveled back in time as you’re entertained with a live Wild West show. Relax in Elkhorn Park and enjoy a barbecue buffet lunch. You don’t need to go far to find an amazing adventure!
Each ticket includes a 2.5-hour train ride, BBQ buffet lunch and Wild West show.

Who doesn’t love a day at the beach? Throw a Frisbee, build a castle in the sand, get your tan on, or brave a swim in the brisk pacific waters. Stenson beach is a beautiful spot, just a short drive North of San Francisco. Enjoy the day, and then we will stop as a group for dinner on our ride home.
Note: You will need to provide your own snacks and towels for the trip along with money for dinner or refreshments.
Sacramento Rivertrain Excursion
Open to ages 18+ (Executive Class Seating. 18 and over only, assigned seating in Executive Class, souvenir glass, glass of sparkling wine or soda, light appetizer. The RiverTrain Excursion showcases Gold Rush history. You will get a chance to interact with characters dressed in period costumes and learn the history of the railroad and Sacramento's Gold Rush days! Halfway through the train ride we will stop at our river-side park and de-board so guests can do their own gem mining! This family-friendly ride is suitable for all ages so bring the whole family and spend the day relaxing on the rails! Each ticket includes the 2.5-hour train ride and gem mining experience.
